After experiencing Agda, 15 years ago, I was busy telling everybody I met that mathematicians would be pushing their proofs to github as code in the future. That people will combine proofs like software libraries to solve problems. We are living in the future now. It's just Lean4
All the loose languages (hooers) are getting fucked.
Ruby’s turn 😅
Remember the GitLab bug? Well now it moved upstream into Ruby.
Multiple 10.0 CRITICAL exploits.
Patch now 🚨
Happy Friday 🤠

Actual real-life. Indians have been arrested multiple times for peeing in the face of fellow Indians because of racism. Yet they turn around and scream racism at Americans who are disgusted with their behavior.

At this point, if you’re in software and aren’t currently working on a plan for moving to formal verification, it’s irresponsible.
The writing is on the wall. This needs to be your priority now.
New on our Frontier Red Team blog: using Claude to formally verify software at large scale.
Formal verification can prove that code is free of certain bugs, but historically it has only been feasible for small codebases (or required a lot of expert time).
With AI models, however, this is beginning to change. In collaboration with @theoremlabs, we used Claude to prove security properties in over one hundred real-world open-source libraries over the span of a few weeks.

A pedophile who raped a 7-year-old got 7 years in prison. The guy who killed him got 80.
Bullshit travesty of justice in Elkhart, IN.

Everything about the emudhra certificate compromise scandal is every single stereotype of Indian behavior. Inability to engage in second-order thinking. Failure to take responsibility. Gross negligence. Inability to perform the basic functions of their job.
If someone exposes their privates to you, tell them it's not appropriate.
Hey can you guys check my private key to make sure it's secure enough?

100% of the code that I've written with AI has been formally verified in 2026 (FStar and Lean4)

200k H1B->PERMs per year because of the lie that no existing Americans could possibly work these tech jobs. Meanwhile 8% unemployment in tech remains.
Smoke and Mirrors! @USDOL Department of Labor has been rushing to certify more and more PERMs each month for the last 1 year.
About 650 PERMs daily on weekdays and ~250 PERMs on weekends. We are reaching the +200,000 mark for 2026. Each approved PERM/I-140 also approvs their spouse H4-EAD!
Reality is so different than what is being portrayed by the Trump administration right before the midterms, telling Americans without jobs that Americans are not available for these jobs!
In 2025, DOL certified 148,227 PERMs because that year also no American workers were available!

🚨 PALMER LUCKEY JUST SAID WHAT MUCH OF SILICON VALLEY WON’T.
I’ve spent 24 years building technology companies and hiring thousands of workers, including H-1Bs.
He’s right about one thing that rarely gets acknowledged:
The H-1B program of today is not the program of the 1990s.
What was sold as a way to attract exceptional talent has also become a tool for staffing companies, outsourcing firms and employers looking to lower labor costs.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
You can support bringing the world’s best talent to America AND oppose replacing qualified American workers with cheaper foreign labor.
Those positions aren’t contradictory.
The real question is why so many tech executives are afraid to say it publicly.
Palmer isn’t. Neither am I.
Immigration policy must be driven by the present, not the past, and business leaders are too terrified of the left AND the right to acknowledge this.
Recent H1B discourse revolves around a longstanding immigration sleight-of-hand. H1B proponents point to exceptional people who came here decades ago as if they represent the current state of the program in the same way that advocates for low-skill/illegal immigration point to very favorable immigrant crime/welfare/education/etc statistics that do, in truth, have them beating native-born Americans on many fronts.
It is all a sham. The world that created those statistics, people, and businesses no longer exists. Brilliant but desperate Vietnamese fathers who fled communism have nothing in common with young men from Honduras, and the crime rates/economic acccomplishments/integration of the former should not be used to justify mass migration of the latter.
Nor should the accomplishments of people who managed to get an H1B visa in the 90s (when the program was capped to just 65,000 visas) be used to justify staffing agencies and tech companies using the program to replace American jobs for less money. The obvious abuse going on is politically suicidal and something that even the most ardent supporters of the visa should want to crack down on, no immigration program can possibly survive the obvious and widely known reality of what is going on. I am a longtime outspoken advocate for stealing the best people from other countries to make our own better, runaway abuse of existing programs robs the government of the worker trust required to do so.
Lots of people in the tech space know this. Even the dumb people are smart enough to see it. Nobody actually believes these are all incredible people with unique talents performing jobs no American can. Everyone knows the guy in Cubicle Bay 7 doing mediocre but functional web design for half the salary of his American peers is no savant and doesn't meet the statutory requirements for his H-1B visa.
Unfortunately, most people with power or profile are terrified that any public statement or acknowledgement will get them attacked by the right (You guys have been screwing over American workers for years with visa abuse, you damn hypocrite!) or the left (You are racist, sexist, misogynist, and sucking up to this fascist administration!). Or, more likely, both. I know too many tech execs in particular who feel trapped, like the only winning move is to stay silent.
JD is blowing the whole thing wide open by putting facts and stats front and center that nobody wants to engage with. Critics will talk about anything and everything else but these damning facts and this obvious truth, that H1B visas serve neither their original purpose, legal purpose, invented purpose, or the American people.
