We've had to take our usual site location options down. For the time being users will have to use the No Exact Address option to select their authority and enter their site address when creating a new Proposal or changing the site location of an existing one.

We saw another wee reduction in submission numbers last week with 4,883 received online (a product of the mid-term school holidays perhaps?). Even so, that was around 6% more than in the same week last year.

We are undertaking an important update on the eDevelopment service this evening and will be taking the service offline from around 7:00pm. We expect the site to be offline for around an hour. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We saw a week-on-week increase of 9.2% in submission numbers made online last week (5,199). This was the largest weekly total since August.

We received 5,193 submissions through the online service last week - this was an increase of around 5% from the previous week.

... and just like that, we're back into the mid 5k range again following summer holidays. We saw an 11% increase from last week and an 8.7% increase compared to the same week in 2025. This appears to have been largely fuelled by an increase in eBStds submissions.

We saw 4,890 online submissions made last week on the eDevelopment service. That was a slight (-2%) drop-off from the previous week due primarily to a reduction in planning submissions.

We saw just under 5k online submissions made on the eDevelopment service last week - that's up 2.5% from the previous week and up 3.4% compared to the same week last year.

Last week saw a slight reduction in activity on the service with just over 4.8k submissions made online - a reduction from both the previous week and from the same week last year.

It looks like the submission numbers are working their way back up as July progresses. We saw increases in both Planning and BStds submissions last week which together combined to fall just shy of the 5k mark for the week.

We saw around 4.6k submissions made online last week. While still a significant number, we've seen a drop of about 11% over the last 3 weeks. We see this type decrease every year around this time as summer holidays start in Scotland! 🏖️

We're planning on deploying an update to the Planning and BStds Fee Calculator systems at 5pm this afternoon. The calculators will be taken offline for the update and while we do some wee testing. The rest of the eDevelopment should remain unaffected.

Last week saw the 7th consecutive week with >5k submissions made online. It was also the 21st week out of 26 weeks in 2026 so far that has achieved that.

Another decent week last week for the eDevelopment service - 5,307 submissions in total, albeit with drops in both planning and BStds submissions from the week before. It was the 6th consecutive week with over 5k submissions - consistent!😀
