ALT The first page of a small comic I made for Metroid Ravenous's release and because I was playing Halo's campaigns when it was announced. Cortana speaks the entire comic with Chief as stoic as usual. "Chief. For lack of a better term, these Flood were... eaten." Chief and Cortana stand in front of a motionless Flood spawn. On its right shoulder is a strange energy leaking from an imprint. It looks like it was chewed off (or at least it's supposed to lol). And yes the "... And She Was Ravenous" is meant to show up exactly like how the titles of missions show up in Halo games so just imagine that.

ALT A noise is heard that sounds like squelching, immediately confirming that something is consuming the biomass. Chief adjust quickly, drawing twin Magnums at the blink of an eye. But the target disappeared quickly leaving behind a pool of leftover biomass and energy radiating from it. "It's fast. What is that thing?" Cortana is left awestruck. Chief readjusts his vision to see the anomaly standing atop a small vantage point. In one hand coated with the same energy is an unfinished delicacy of biomass. In the other, is not a hand at all but is a blade. Only the lights can be seen from this creature. Cortana readies an explanation but is still awestruck by the figure standing atop the cliff. "I only sensed one hostile. But it feels like thousands. Be careful..."

ALT "And chief... do what you do best." Cortana regains composure as the Master Chief and Samus in her Metroid suit begin to stare each other down. Don't worry they probably wouldn't fight like a certain 2007 animation. They would like have a dance off and while the Flood are cheering them on, Doom Guy appears and busts some dope ass dance moves. The End.
