During dissections 20 years ago, I noted that sagittal sections through #adductor longus demonstrated the fibrocartilage beautifully. I attempted to create an identical view on the #MRI scan. Saggital views of the adductor longus FC are standard now. #PLAC @Carnegie_Sport
#PLAC stands for Pyramidalis-Anterior Pubic Ligament-Adductor Longus Complex and is an acronym not an anatomical structure. It reminds which additional structures to examine with #adductor avulsions. Only 1/3 are isolated adductor longus avulsions.@Carnegie_Sport @FortiusClinicUK
