The shift from CAP to ELMs has brought complexity, uncertainty, delayed payments, and reduced income for too many businesses, all while facing rising costs and more imports.
Brexit was sold as a chance to do better for British farming. The reality has been a difficult transition with mixed results at best.
We need long-term, stable support that works for food production and the environment, not more spin.
