I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Dr Haines, but I have always wanted to.
My wife was her escort for the ADF Parliamentary Program many years ago, taking her around our bases & to sea in a patrol boat. She has raved about her ever since, about what a genuinely good human she is and her support for our ADF.
Wishing Helen a speedy recovery. From everything said about her in recent days, she is a leader we should all aspire to be more like.
