Europe, and Italy especially, needs an Omarchy moment. Too many things are broken, too little is invested in tech, and we keep falling behind. We can fix everything, but only if we start. 🇮🇹 @omarchy

You must learn to reverse the polarity of the negative energy your best ideas will inevitably generate and turn it into positive, forward momentum.
I love this idea from @dhh:
All the best ideas that actually turn out to have an impact sound stupid at first.
“You've got to have a high tolerance for people telling you:
-What you're building is stupid.
-What you're building is ugly.
-What you're building is never going to work.
When I get that feedback, I know I'm onto something.
I’ve found that’s often true about products. You enter some domain and you think:
"Who's the best? Can I just copy them?I'll do a slight tweak."
That's not gonna work.
All the best ideas that actually turn out to have an impact sound stupid at first.
They're not intuitive.
That's where all the value has been locked up. It's locked up in this misconception about what people actually want, because most people don't know what they want.”

As a German living abroad and looking at things from outside the German media bubble, it’s tough to watch such a great nation hold itself back like this.

EU has saved me from
- a €40,000 hospital bill for a broken arm
- surprise roaming charges the second I cross a border
- a different charger in every drawer
- an app store that takes 30% and won’t let me leave
- data brokers selling my location because I once clicked “accept”
- subscriptions that take three lawyers and a blood sample to cancel
- airlines treating my bag as a separate personality with its own fare

Hallo Deutschland 🇩🇪
adleros.ai
Ich hab da mal was angefangen.
Aktuell hilft Adler AI mit Infos. Step by Step.

Außerdem wird Beamtendeutsch in simple Sprache übersetzt.

I wanted Omarchy without giving up everything I like about macOS.
So I built a Mac starter:
• Mac-style shortcuts
• rounded/frosted UI
• AirPods + AirPlay
• Magic Mouse + Keyboard/Trackpad
One command to install:
github.com/johnloringpollard…
Let me know how it works for you!
Thank you to @GregMolnar for the idea.
