This marks year #19 for this legend and his booming pipes over the Allen Fieldhouse PA… and you know Eric’s gonna have The Phog jumpin’ on Sunday. 🗣️
Give this a listen to learn about his passion for KU Hoops and process on gamedays!
Thanks @BHanni for having me on! Fun conversation around the mystique of Allen Fieldhouse, what it means to maintain traditions, & how we always look for ways to enhance the fan experience. Give it a listen as we head into a great KU weekend! #RockChalk youtu.be/htaWL11TQwg?is=k-Zk…

We all get to the microphone in our own unique way. This guy crushed it announcing a Phillies game on radio after winning their charity auction. @OverTheMic
What price do you put on a lifelong dream?
For former substitute teacher Lewis Kalb, it was $22,000.
The 73-year-old retiree won the Phillies' auction to call an inning on the radio.
And he sounded like he'd been doing it for years.

Two Jayhawk legends and National Champion teammates collide at tonight’s 18th-annual @RCRClassic. See you at Free State at 7 pm as nearly 40 former Jayhawks return to raise money for local children battling cancer. Rock Chalk!
Congrats to @GaryWoodland on the win in Houston. Pulled my boys to the TV to show them perseverance personified. Every Kansan and Jayhawk couldn’t be prouder. Can’t wait to hear that Rock Chalk chant at Augusta!

Meet Brent Ivey.
Brent is the father of 3 boys and stepfather to 3 more amazing kids. Two of his sons are close friends with my youngest, and one is even his roommate at KU.
Brent is the dad every kid hopes for. A diehard Nebraska Cornhuskers fan who never missed a game his kids were playing in. The guy who funds and sets up huge tailgates out of his own pocket just to bring people together. He’s never asked anyone for anything.
A few months ago, Brent started having strange symptoms - foot pain, then his leg, then his arm and back. After countless appointments and no answers, he went from being told it was a pinched nerve… to needing a cane… to barely being able to move.
An ER visit led to KU Med, where doctors discovered a golf ball-sized brain tumor.
About ten days ago, he underwent surgery. Doctors removed most of it- but not all. Today, he’s relearning how to move, working through physical therapy, and facing a long and expensive road ahead.
Through it all, he’s stayed positive.
If you feel led to help a truly good man and his family during the fight of their lives, the GoFundMe link is below. Even sharing this helps.
Brent has always shown up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

The National Park Service is the heartbeat of our parks - yet they have faced devastating cuts to their staffing and funding.
This #WorldRangerDay, take a moment to speak up for those who work to steward our national parks: npca.org/morerangers

The stories we learned about money in childhood don't just disappear. They quietly influence every financial decision, whispering about what we can and can't have. @jerrycolonna asks: What old beliefs about money might still be running your life? buff.ly/URPeznf
Join me for another run with KU legends and raise money for well deserving cause! Your Voice of the Jayhawks @BHanni works so hard every year to make this special for families undergoing cancer treatment. Buy a ticket, make a donation, come and watch on July 10! #kubball

Sometimes I get the privilege of announcing the end of an incredible achievement and yesterday was one of them. We are a #volleyball family and every person in the VB community will tell you how great of a person Ray is. Congratulations Coach! Rock Chalk!
Let’s go @DanielsonHank and @connorbohon! Leadership extends beyond the game and you both showed it all year long. Proud of you both!
Data driven offense of 3s, at the rim 2s, and free throws. It’s where the game is headed and @CJMooreHoops cracks it here.
Why is efficiency on pace for a record high in college hoops? I talked to coaches and Ken Pomeroy to get some answers: nytimes.com/athletic/5990820…
Ahem, Kansas City. Look what you could do if we fixed the scar that is 71 Highway.
