Housing is first and foremost a question of human dignity, it is not merely an economic issue. To live in dignity, one needs a house — a home.
Across Europe, the housing market is in crisis. Member State governments bear the primary responsibility for housing, and ECPP calls on them to act.
ECPP MEP @hjaruissen calls on the Commission to deliver on the gold-plating pact announced by President Von der Leyen. Gold-plating, when Member States impose unnecessary requirements on top of European regulations, is a serious problem. According to MEP Ruissen, it is prevalent in legislation on nature restoration.

Today, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling for measures to be taken against the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists seeking to infiltrate and undermine our democracies from within.
During yesterday's debate, ECPP MEP @hjaruissen urged Europe not to be naive:
🗣 "The Muslim Brotherhood is trying to gain a foothold everywhere, from politics to education. In doing so, they really want only one thing, and that is the Islamisation of Europe, the introduction of Sharia law and, consequently, the end of democracy. Let us take action."
