Awesome! Simply awesome!!
Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.

As Ron DeSantis enters the final weeks of his governorship of Florida, look at what he has accomplished.
His record is nothing short of miraculous and may be the single most effective governorship in the history of the United States.
Let’s remember….
He was the first to stand up to crazy COVID restrictions and reopen schools and businesses, he led the nation in school choice with more than half 1 million families now in the school of their choosing, he eliminated state debt and left the state with 18 billion in rainy day funds, and most importantly he signed the Heartbeat Protection Act, which ended most abortions after six weeks.
Everyone I know who lives in Florida says it is the most well-run state in the country. Well done governor!🙏

RIP to a great country artist and the pride of Apopka, FL, John Anderson.
“Seminole Wind” is one of the best songs of all-time about Florida.
John Anderson, whose unmistakable voice helped make him a country music legend, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday at age 71, his family said.
@anthonymasoncbs, who spoke with Anderson in 2022, after a mysterious illness “almost completely” took away the singer-songwriter’s hearing, takes a look at his legacy.

The calf was born last night. The bear showed up this morning... Our donkey went at it before the cow even knew it was there. Braying, rearing, kicking. The bear went back into the woods, and the calf stood up for the first time right after.

“Western Michigan and the college football world. Iowa has your back.”
What a call from the Iowa Student network for their game winning TD vs Michigan

Florida’s “move back you suck” is easily one of the most creative and best traditions in all of college football.
