Eu também acho que toda essa negatividade alterou e muito e que ela não passou ilesa.
Só olhar o texto que ela fez pra Phoebe: "To write about grief with such vulnerability and detail, and to trust the listener with this much honesty".
Depois do TTPD, penso que ela tenha se afastado um pouco dessas narrativas e líricos "crus" sem filtros, porque todas as narrativas (i hate it here, ttpd) foram tirados de contexto. E aí ela lançou o Showgirl que inventaram até narrativas exageradas de uma letra boba como wish list, só porque ela disse que queria que os filhos parecessem com o pai.
Com todo esse contexto, eu acredito muito que ela tenha se podado um pouco como compositora. E agora ela sabe que independente do que lançar, as reações serão as mesmas ou piores...
