Today we heard about the World Happiness Report from our guest speakers Lara Aknin and John Helliwell. Our discussion centered around how we traditionally try to measure happiness and how in recent years people have begun to reevaluate how they do so.
Today our theme was World Happiness, Conscious Consumerism and Waste Management! We were wondering about what motivates our climate consciousness and the impacts of our beliefs and perspectives.
We also spoke about the intersection of ethics and policy and how creating that different world will require collaboration across shared values! Check out the video for more information.

Today we had a fun and very interesting discussion with Dr. Jacquelin Klopp, the Co-Director for the Center for Sustainable Urban Development at the Earth Institute, Columbia University. We spoke at length and with great passion about the problems that face urban development.
The Ambassadors were very active in their discussion and brought some great points, topics and ideologies that will only become more important as time goes on. Thank you again to Dr. Klopp and our Eco Ambassadors! Check out our session in the YouTube video!
