Does anyone have any connections at IAG Developer? Looking for access to the British Airways Flight + Car/Hotel APIs. But... their account registration, reset, and contact forms don't appear to work :( Which means no API access. Do you know anyone who can help?

Presented an overview of the state of the venture market yesterday at our AGM. Some updated slides we've presented in the past as well as some new data. Hopefully some interesting stuff for people monitoring the venture markets. docs.google.com/presentation…

Even if companies are large enough to have an internal insights/research team, marketers often bypass them. As one marketer told me: "If I ask them a question, they take 4-8 weeks to find the answer." It makes sense. Ain't nobody got that kind of time. Marketers regularly have strict deadlines. If the goal is to deliver something by a given date, then target market research is too often skipped. I get it - faster companies win more. But - nothing worse than running enthusiastically in the wrong direction. This leads to checklist marketing. What you need to optimize for is the speed to “aha moments”. How fast are you able to generate customer and market insights? You should be able to answer most questions within a day or two. Don't settle for less.

What if we had weekly elections? Most politics is deadlocked. What if politicians had to prove progress to the electorate each week?

2022 summary without the photo reel — but scrolling through all my photos from last year, I noticed all the most special moments were shared moments. So Ed to future Ed: treasure your family, friends, colleagues, and cabin crew — this year and always :)
