For project Line 2, more than 30 km of edilon)(sedra Corkelast® EBS track has been installed, including EBS bearers for turnouts, crossroads and double track connections and 520 m of Corkelast® ERS (Embedded Rail System) track. The opening of the 3 new stations in the eastern direction of Line 2 is expected this year.

ALT On top, a Longitudinal Stiffness Test (EN 13146-1) that simulates the forces of a train when braking. This test also proves that Corkelast® ERS has a restraint that is significantly higher than the longitudinal rail restraint of mechanical rail fastenings. The higher the restraint, the lower the risks of rail breakage and buckling. At the bottom, a Vertical Stiffness Test (EN 13146-9), using smart laser sensors for fast and precise measurements of vertical and lateral rail displacements. A great piece of technique, isn’t it?!
