The council won't fund street trees on Sandhurst Road, but we can make it happen!
We're just £675 away from having the money for 7(!) trees on our road. Thousands already raised.
Spread the word!

Don’t know why @TfL keep ignoring problems like this on their roads, even @LewishamCouncil refuse to do anything. @CatfordParking

Just another normal day at the Sangley Road shops, where @LewishamCouncil allow people to drive on and park on the pavements.
When will this be sorted, @LouiseKrupski and @Brenda_Dacres? Why is this tolerated?

On Sandhurst Road the road is for cars, and the pavement is for cars.
When will pedestrians be protected here, @LouiseKrupski and @Brenda_Dacres?
Good old @Tesco allowing builders to use a disabled parking bay for over a months despite dozens of parking bay nearby
I dreaded to know what will happen when a driver hit a parked car that’s on the pavement and push it against the houses, or worse; crush a person. @LouiseKrupski @Brenda_Dacres
Shocking footage of a car flipping onto its roof on Minard Road, Catford - a side street of Sandhurst Road.
We need these roads fixed, @LouiseKrupski and @Brenda_Dacres. It's dangerous to walk or cycle around here.

Infuriating report from Sandhurst Road.
Should @LewishamCouncil force people to walk in the street, risking the speeding cars, with their newborn baby?
It's absolutely failing residents. When will you sort this, @LouiseKrupski and @Brenda_Dacres?

Sandhurst Road this morning.
Where's the space for pedestrians?
Where's the space for cyclists?
All you can see, from house to house, is space for cars.
We need change here, @Brenda_Dacres.

More shambolic parking in Lewisham.
Absolute failure from leadership.
New Mayor @Brenda_Dacres has been told about this many times
Come to #Catford where you can park literally *anywhere* you like!

Seemed to happen everyday blocking the bike stand outside the @Se_Railway stations.
Exact same driver parking against the bike stand outside Catford Station on a daily basis.
Look like pavement parking is legal in @LewishamCouncil @CatfordParking

Right outside @LewishamCouncil building, you can get away with parking on a double yellow. @CatfordParking
We are legally allowed to park on the pavement on Sunday on the west part of Sangley Road, right? @LewishamCouncil @LouiseKrupski @CatfordParking
In full view of @LewishamCouncil building where pavement parking is deemed legal by them.

Lewisham is about to vote for its next Mayor.
The last Mayor never responded to our requests to come and see the problems on Sandhurst & Sangley Roads, despite them being metres from his office.
Will @Brenda_Dacres and @AmandadeRyk commit to talking to us after election?
Can we please ensure illegal parking is a thing of the past by simply installing bollards @LouiseKrupski ? Even drivers happily idling for 10 minutes waiting.
I have a really interesting chat with a person who drove into the pavement crossing the zebra crossing, he genuinely didn’t realised, end up moving his van elsewhere, can @LewishamCouncil make it clear that pavement parking is illegal @LouiseKrupski ?
Just like this section, no one parked there anymore due to bollards, can this be extended to prevent illegal parking @LouiseKrupski ?

@LouiseKrupski @LewishamCouncil any movement to ban pavement parking? It’s almost a constant flow on Sunday night with people driving onto the zebra crossing, maybe bollard? Enforcements camera? @CatfordParking

Pavement at Sangley Road shops completely blocked by enormous van. Look at the cracked paving slabs, making a trip hazard, caused by this nonsense happening daily.
We need bollards here ASAP @LouiseKrupski before someone is hurt. This shouldn't be tolerated by @LewishamCouncil.
