To make something enduring that transforms people, especially children and families, is greater than all the Emmys and awards.
They are just door stoppers compared to the lives touched by your work.
I tried my first call with @bot. Did a test by having my COS dial a family member and ask a question. That unnamed family member provided an answer and then proceeded to “instruct” the agent that if Ed wanted to speak to them, he should text or call them directly and not have my COS do the dirty work. He reported back that he was told half jokingly to knock it off.

Didn’t have my first one until I was in college.

This stapler lived on my mom’s desk when she was a secretary in New York in the late 1940s and early ’50s. She almost certainly bought it herself — a couple of dollars at the time, not a big stretch on a secretary’s weekly pay of around $40–50.
She probably picked it up at Goldsmith Bros. on Nassau Street, then America’s largest stationery store. It’s a Speed Products Model 3C, made right here in Long Island City during World War II (they used a wood base painted black to save metal for the war effort).
The company later became Swingline, and this model’s easy top-loading design helped invent the modern desktop stapler we still use. Still going strong after 75+ years.
Some tools just last. I still use it. Works just like a ... stapler.

Patrick Stewart was nine years younger than @WilliamShatner but he played Captain Picard at age 47. While Bill played Kirk at 35.
Picard was also about 100 years later in the Star Trek timeline.
I often think about how these two age differences (performers/characters and stardates) factored into very different performances, captains, and storylines.
For me Stewart had a king-like presence. @WilliamShatner had an explorer-adventurer vibe.
Our loss is great.

I wonder who's going to do a matchmaker @bot.

The iPhone Duo has made phones feel fun and exciting again.
This is what we’ve been waiting for.
Duo. Unfolding.
Pretty easy even while reaching under the camera on a tripod. I still need the right case for me. This one is slim-ish but still a little bulkier than I'd like. Can't go without one because my goofy hands will trigger AppleCare.
There is a small delay on the flip but I think it was more prounced in this video beacuse of the angle I was holding the iPhone-iPad.
The screens hold their own even outside. I was in shadow but its a bright sunny day today. The nano insider is really glare resistent and holds up better than the outsider. But any iphone user will be familair with the look of the outside.
The inside is what shines in its unshininess.
🤖 Made with AI
BTW not sure the vid was tagged Made with AI because I shot it quickly with my @FujifilmX_US and did a fast cut in Premiere to lop off head and tail and add music.
The music was generated. Maybe that’s why.
But the visual is real. That’s the most important thing. 😉
Duo. Easier to hold one-handed when folded. I like this compact form factor.
I think of it as focus mode. Less clutter more intentional. When I need more I unfold.
Also, it fits in the pocket much better.
It truly is a #Duo.

Gorgeous even outdoors.
A little hard to hold with one hand like this. But it didn't drop for the photo. Still trying cases. Want one thin with good grip some kickstand thingie, a screen protector on the outer screen (sorry @Apple ) and MagSafe. Waiting on one from @moft_global.
Love the smaller compact outer screen. Helps you focus without clutter. Will send a photo soon.
As more apps optimize for the Duo the better this gets.
Duo. It's a phone and productivity juggernaut.
