Wonderful fun time at Western Forum talking to the pathologists and entomologists about Ag Tech like equipment evolution, precision Ag, computer vision, automation, machine learning and autonomous field work.

When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote. Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.⚖️

The Detroit Series 60. The engine that killed the Screaming Jimmy, and broke a lot of hearts. By the mid-80s, Detroit was in trouble. The old two-strokes were on their way out, Cummins was eating their lunch, and Detroit was down to under 5 percent of the market. So they did something nobody had done. They built a brand new engine from scratch and put a computer in charge of it. The Series 60 was the first heavy-duty diesel with full electronic controls as standard. Overhead cam, drive by wire, and cruise control. Old timers swore it would never last. A year later, Roger Penske teamed up with GM and took over Detroit Diesel. He didn’t invent the Series 60, but he sure knew what to do with it. By 1993, Detroit went from 3 percent of the highway market to 33 percent. They built it in 11.1, 12.7 and 14 liter, and the 12.7 was the one you saw everywhere. They built over a million of them before the DD15 took its place in 2011. It saved Detroit. It just cost us the nostalgic scream to do it. The computer everybody hated in 1987 is in every truck on the road today. Funny how that works. 🚛 Tell me what you guys thought of this engine. Were you fans? or just hated it because it replaced the old Jimmies?

Amazing chart from Adam Farrar of Bloomberg @economics. Assuming the Binance hack was done by the North Koreans, as alleged by @trmlabs, then the country just captured 75% of its total 2025 revenue in the span of just 20 minutes

Canada has the smallest population of G7 countries. It therefore has the smallest GDP of G7 countries. Italy is like 50% larger, France and UK more than 75% larger. Germany is like 2x Canada. Japan is 3x Canada. US is like 9x Canada. In terms of GDP per capita, Canada is behind the US, roughly tied with Germany and the UK, and ahead of France, Italy and Japan. Its stock market has outperformed the UK, Italy, Germany, France, Japan and the US over the past 18 months, per OP. It is the only G7 country besides Germany with AAA ratings, per OP. hope this helps

1 in 3 have always not been able to afford food no matter who the PM is.
Mark Carney told Canadians to judge him by prices at the grocery store. Well, the results are in: one in three Canadians are dipping into their savings or borrowing money just to put food on the table. Money meant for emergencies, retirement or a future home is instead going toward basic groceries. After 11 years of Liberal government, Canadians deserve more than promises of relief. Conservatives will keep fighting to cut fuel taxes and slash red tape to lower the cost of producing and transporting food so Canadians can fill their grocery cart without emptying their pockets.

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Wab Kinew just told Carney: "It's time to abolish the Indian Act." Not a Conservative.
An NDP premier.
A FIRST NATIONS LEADER holding up his own status card. He said it identifies him as an "Indian within the meaning of the Indian Act." He said Canada should no longer have a "race-based form of identification." He said it at the first meeting of Ottawa, the premiers and First Nations chiefs in two decades. AS A FATHER TO 3 FIRST NATIONS KIDS, I AGREE. ABOLISH IT FOR GOOD. No more race-based laws or land giveaways. WE ARE ALL EQUAL. The ball is in Carney's court. 150 YEARS IS LONG ENOUGH.

We had AI in the 70's and 80's. Nothing new. It was called ask your daddy. And like AI, when he didn't know the answer he made stuff up - with confidence.
