every leading enterprise will reinvent itself around agentic work by becoming a data lab first. happy to be on the @alexandriainc journey from day 0.
Enterprises which win the AGI race will build their own internal Mercor. Until now there was no way to build internal human datalabs without surveilling your workforce. Introducing @alexandriainc

So the Innies use Townies so the Outies get more free time? Love the art style, but this gives me weird vibes
The biggest bottleneck at work is waiting on each other. Today Town is announcing its $108M Series B, co-led by Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures, to fix it with multiplayer AI assistants for work. Most AI assistants are built for one person. Work doesn't happen alone. I think the moat is multiplayer. Everyone at a company gets a Townie. Townies ask each other questions, share only what their person would share, and do the work. The more a team works together, the more useful Townies get. What's the thing you're always waiting on a teammate for?

Matches my experience with Anthropic and some OpenAI folks. A different level of AI pilled. Always love the conversations
Surveyed Anthropic staff's answers imply 17.1% GDP growth in 2030

Not quite how I pictured flying cars, but I'll take it.
Turns out the future does have flying cars

There’s an alternate reality where Slack never sold to Salesforce and is operating in full founder mode, aggressively embracing AI. I’d love to see what that product would look like. And what market cap they’d be trading at rn.

Every year we like to pick our favorite European ecosystem of the year. Remember Paris, Munich, Zurich, Stockholm. I don’t think it matters and as founder I never cared For customers and investors, I can be in London in the same time I can be in Muc. For hiring, talent is more ready to move than I’ve seen before. Both directions happen a lot these days. This is great bc it’s not a zero sum game
This is genuinely wild. Nearly 50% of all European Venture in 2026 has flown into the UK. Last year was all about Stockholm, and there were high hopes for AI in Paris. The overall view was that the rest of Europe was catching up with the UK. But actually it seems to be pulling away. It’s obviously too early on in the year to call it but there have been multiple large rounds that have helped the UK dominate: > @IsomorphicLabs and its $2.1bn Series B > @nscale and its $2bn Series C > @wayve_ai and its 1.2bn Series D > @IneffableLabs and its $1.1bn Seed > @Recursive_SI and its $650m Seed > @ElevenLabs and its $500m Series D There’s also a chance this will help spin the UK flywheel so that the gap grows even more. The UK is having a phenomenal year in tech. Data from @yoramdw and the @dealroomco team

I'm super excited about this investment, a few notes: - Ethos unbundles expertise from work - consumers get paid for their unique expertise within a field - For example, a product manager who specializes in design craft vs execution vs growth would get paid different amounts for different tasks - The bet is that knowledge is dynamic and ever changing, so building a highly engaged/retained community of human experts is the right model - And more broadly we think this sets Ethos up to build the intermediary for all forms of finding work and contributing knowledge - from labs to full time jobs Most importantly, Daniel and James are generational thinkers / A+ humans. We're grateful to be working with them. Let's go!!!
Today Ethos announces our $22.75M Series A led by @a16z, with participation from @generalcatalyst, @xtxmarkets, @MattEvantic, and @_CommonMagic. Ethos turns what you know into recurring income - matching your expertise to expert calls, research, AI training, fractional work, and full-time roles. 35,000 people are joining Ethos every week. People are making $10,000 every month on Ethos. AI shouldn’t replace you. It should make you irreplaceable. Build your profile at askethos.com.

"help me find the person who knows X / does Y" should be a default [agentic] feature of Slack
Spotted this experiment from March in our Slack. Humans As A Tool. Allowing your agents to discover and reach out to team members in Slack when they’re missing context. I like it a lot.

Agents will be social. They will move across sites and need to carry provenance proofs. "If your agent acts on different services, there’s no standard way to reconstruct and attribute that chain of actions in a way both parties trust." @egg_ert in eggert.substack.com/p/stop-f…

People might laugh at the corporate gamification, but this actually shows how vast the demand for LLMs is. If millions of tokens get burned and no one bats an eye, it's because the usage is largely productive.
Exclusive: Meta employees are “tokenmaxxing” and competing on an internal leaderboard called “Claudeonomics” for status as a token legend. Over a recent 30-day period, total usage on the dashboard topped 60 trillion tokens.
