Being a farmer in Britain right now is like being trapped in the back of stolen car driven at high speed by a driver who’s high on drugs and oblivious to the obstacles ahead… and all the time shouting absolute gibberish at you from the front seats
Remarkable comments from @theresecoffey that £2.4bn is sufficient to the scale of govt’s environmental ambitions via ELM & that there is no food market failure - despite food shortages currently making the front pages. Accuses farmers of stirring public hysteria on food #NFU23
Anyone else’s dog love a good eyeball lick!? All mine love it, I thought it was just a border collie thing, but Ocean the miniature American shepherd loves it too! .

Puppies! This is Tramp, with little Fable peeking over his shoulder. Big brothers should always look after their little sisters! How cute is his wee white ear, like he’s walked past a wet paint wall. #bordercollie… instagram.com/p/B_S8M8apZwF/… – at North East, England
Happy White calf day! Not that’s not a real day, but maybe we could make it a thing?! I mean brilliant white calves sheer everyone up right? This is a pedigree whitebred shorthorn, she’s on the endangered breed list… instagram.com/p/B_QNuh8pf21/… – at North East, England

My little Nessie is a fabulous mum as I always knew she would be. She’s always wanted to snuggle whenever we have had a pup in the past, now she has 8 of her own. Having said that, her live for them isn’t quite as… instagram.com/p/B--Xn-XJSuW/… – at North East, England

The dogs aren’t allowed in the lambing shed, but here Larry supervises from a vantage point to make sure his minions (Ewan and I) are doing it properly! #farmdog #sheepdog #bordercollie #workmate #lambing… instagram.com/p/B-g_nSup71V/… – at North East, England
Got this shot of my blue grey girls this morning, waiting for some breakfast. I can’t wait to buy a bull this year to bull them with. Question is, what should I get?! Angus? Limmy? Wagyu?! Simmental?! #bull #bluegrey… instagram.com/p/B-VHjmZplIK/… – at North East, England
Cool calm power.

Mr Grey, my first lilac collie, and a rough coated one too! Very different but he’s converting me. He’s a talented boy and I’m really enjoying training him. #sheepdog #lilacbordercollie #sportdog #workingdog #farmdog… instagram.com/p/B-Prb7Xps6Q/… – at North East, England
