Here is a clear example of the state being used to protect/advance capitalist interests.
Guess who already described this in great detail around 2 centuries ago?

Senator-judge Robin Padilla asks the witness and Divinagracia about the use of aliases.
Divinagracia says whether aliases were allowed or not is not an issue for them.
Padilla replies that the use of aliases cannot be a non-issue because the prosecution is implying that there are laughable names.
Padilla: "Mas nakakatawa po itong mga pangalan nung mga nangyari noong araw... Kilala niyo po kung sino si Marcial Bonifacio? Sino po? Si Benigno Aquino Jr, si Ninoy, siya mismo may alias."
Senator-judge Bam Aquino, the nephew of Ninoy, was next to ask the witness but gave a comment first.
#VPOnTrial @ABSCBNNews

I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.
“Above all, don’t lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”

isn’t this the actual quote;
“Above all, don’t lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”

Fyodor Dostoevsky on self-deception
“Above all, don’t lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love, and in order to occupy and distract himself without love he gives way to passions and coarse pleasures, and sinks to bestiality in his vices, all from continual lying to other men and to himself. The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than any one. You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn’t it? A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill—he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it, and so pass to genuine vindictiveness.”
