really recommend doing this. a well instrumented system is an agent friendly system
I unironically agree with @bcherny’s take that “coding is solved, but bugs are not.”
The deeper meaning is that you can in theory code *anything* now. You can burn infinite tokens refining and optimizing. Including optimizations that no one will care about 💀
With Vercel you can build a different kind of recursive improvement loop. You capture traces from production, you then optimize and course-correct based on how your software is being used IRL.
This is not a new idea. The best engineers I’ve ever worked with never jumped into coding (now prompting) right away. You instrument the system, collect data, understand distributions, user journeys, and then put fingers on keyboard.
You can ask your agent today to look at your traces!
do:
- generative ui
don't do:
- wall of text

Lovable, Replit and Bolt made building a new website easy. So why is more than half the internet still on WordPress and Wix? 🤔
Because nobody is starting from scratch.
A real business site has 200+ pages: services, locations, blog posts, team pages, all the content that took years to write. Moving that by hand to a new builder can take weeks, so most businesses just don't.
So we built the switch:
→ Paste your URL. Dagny rebuilds the whole site, every page.
→ Decide how much the design changes for the new build.
→ Make edits where you already work: Slack, iMessage or WhatsApp, with no need for a developer.
Your content stays the same, it just gets a fresh modern look;)
And your site isn't a standalone tool. It plugs straight into Dagny, the same AI that handles your marketing, competitor analysis, SEO, Google business profile etc. - one brain for your whole company.
