returning briefly from hiatus to say my favorite part of the two towers is when treebeard goes, (mournfully) we lost the entwives long ago, and pippin is like, omg how did they die??, and treebeard says, i didn't say they DIED i said we LOST them. we don't know where they are.
i'm in the final stretch of this amazing month-long writing residency in wyoming. i arrived here with a 90k partial shitty draft and i'm leaving with a 48k partial clean draft + a 50k shitty draft + a 23k trash document.
