Challenging folks' ideas is a sign of respect. Treat folks as thinking agents with the ability to decide what they believe, rather than products of their cultural environments. We can respect people and respectfully disagree with their ideas. 🧠⚡💯

A progressive friend of mine posted on Facebook that ICE pulled his friends over on their way to work, looked at their IDs, and then let them go. The comments were flooded with people screaming about how racist and oppressive it was and called for people to vote for Democrats.

I moved out of that community after nearly 40 years because it felt like the white progressives that lived there were more focused on protecting criminals than they were about making sure the drug dealers and human traffickers were held accountable. It's surreal to watch.

I'll use this story to ask folks to vote GOP. The left has gone totally bonkers. If you're struggling to afford *anything* I promise, it's not that billionaires or the GOP screwed you over.—it's that Democrats have been using tax dollars to support fraud and illegal immigration.

If your church says homosexuality and abortion are sins, but you are forgiven if you accept Jesus as your Savior, it's probably a decent church. If your church says the Bible doesn't condemn homosexuality or abortion, you don't go to a church, you go to a social club.

I made a decision to take my son to see Wildwood last night rather than watch the Chiefs vs Seahawks, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. Wildwood is possibly the most impressive animated film ever made. Laika has pushed the boundaries to new levels. Simply amazing.

If Donald Trump's story doesn't inspire you, I don't know what will. The man is the epitome of perseverance, resilience, and success. Knocked down countless times, yet he keeps getting back up. His determination is nothing short of extraordinary.

Christians don’t “follow” Donald Trump … we follow Jesus. We vote for Trump and Republicans because the alternative is to vote for Democrats who support every ungodly policy imaginable.

By the way, Obama -- who has very large skeleton closet of anti-Semitism and and anti-Americanism -- coming out swinging in defense of Ilan Omar, in spite of emerging and damning facts, should probably dissuade you from thinking he has any sense of shame, propriety, or judgment.

I'm re-reading Kurt Vonnegut as an adult. Slaughterhouse Five and Harrison Bergeron still hold up but Galapagos is almost embarrassingly bad for being one of his more popular novels.

Biting sarcasm about a fear of nuclear war, corporate greed epitomized by "yuppies" and billionaires, acid rain, industrial automation hysteria, and cynicism of humankind—Vonnegut's critiques have all been debunked and seem totally insufferable and outdated.
