Day 1: Gender in Sport panel - @elainedevos amazingly articulated her research on women boxers and how associations with their kit stirred a variety of emotions for them. This highlighted multiple gendered relations such athletes have to negotiate #BougieGyms #NoMorePinkGloves

Today, @elainedevos72’s very interesting presentation on the sensory, embodied experiences of women "kitting up" for boxing resonated with me when we went on to a panel debate staged in a sports hall, and my first instict was to get barefoot and do cartwheels🤸🏼‍♀️ @eass_ISSA2022
