About last week. Delayed flight to Barbados, running through the airport, but make it. One hour wait for checked bags to be loaded. Greeted at the resort with a nice drink. Learned Adidas MJs are bad for slippery areas as I fall to right knee. Barbados Day one.

I’m not the friend that tells you what you want to hear. I’m telling you what you need to hear and that’s why it hurts.

What an eventful month! It started in Green Island, Jamaica where I spent a week relaxing and enjoying some much needed time to myself. Then, off to Orlando to hang with family. Palm Beach for work, and now in Hampton, VA with my parents. I’m so blessed and grateful.

I hate speaking to overly emotional people when they’re in their moods. Everything you say is questioned. Go sit yo sensitive ass down somewhere.

I’ve flown more times than I can count and for the first time, I got sick on the plane .

One thing I learned for today: When people believe something is true, they speak with confidence, even when they’re wrong. Let that be a lesson confidence does not equal accurate.

Before you try to lie about something, make sure the other person hasn’t already ran their mouth. Out here looking stupid.

I just flew and I’m grateful SAT/CLT/RDU airports were still functioning per usual. Praying for the TSA workers.

One thing we do as veterans is call each other by their last name. Even when you get married, you’ll hear a couple still do that. What is that about?! I still do it now.

How some people show up for me.

You don’t have to give anyone a list of the ways they wronged you. They know. They just believe you never found out.

Last Friday, I tried this restaurant called Big Bear in San Antonio for all you can eat fish. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 Great breakfast, but the fish didn’t taste good at all.
