Christa Pike’s crime as an 18 year old was monstrous.
But something is wrong with a process where the state of TN tries to kill her for hours and then rushes her to the hospital for medical care. The government must be held to a higher moral standard than its criminal defendants. It’s long past time to outlaw the death penalty.

Amazing that this is the issue that will get Republicans to break with Trump.
Beef prices are too high for a simple reason: Our cattle herd is too small. Imported beef below market prices will only put more pressure on our cattlemen. I have advised the President against this ill-advised action in the past and I now urge him to reconsider. We need to support our cattlemen, grow the herd, and let the market work.
In PA, data centers will now have to pay for their own energy. Good. Regular folks should not have to pay the astronomical cost of building power plants for data centers— while the rich tech barons make all the profit.
This is what we call socializing the cost and the risk (among everyone) but privatizing the profit (to tech billionaires and utility companies). That’s exactly what these powerful interests will do unless government stops it and stands up for regular people. #gapol
