People have been talking about autotuning in live karaoke! Personally, I don’t think it’s necessarily bad or wrong to have, though, I think overtime, a reliance on it might end up being a crutch if you wanted to further your own vocal technique and growth! Back when I started VTubing in 2020, I wanted to sing more covers, I’m not a confident mixer so I didn’t know how to Time or Tune but I wanted to practice mixing songs myself, so I heavily relied on my own skills to sing on pitch. Singing things over and over and making sure my pitch was as perfect as it could be was a skill that grew overtime! (If you are tone deaf, yes, you can practice really hard to grow out of it!) This really helped my hearing and actual LIVE performance vocals in the long hall! (I’m singing Ms Victoria at #oshiconbini) I think autotune is a fun feature for streams! It’s nice to hear the quality of polished vocals!! But if you are someone who wanted to practice and train your hearing and vocals, certainly having those regular karaoke streams are good to listen back to for your own reference! I want you all to enjoy hearing your singing get better overtime! That’s a super fulfilling feeling to have when you look back at your previous works 💜🙏
