after hosting 5 episodes of the founder spotlight here is what i’ve found out - you can decide to remain a consumer waiting for the next shinning thing to hop on or instead decide to contribute to this industry by solving a problem and providing value. It’s a choice we all have to make. - building is not easy but having the right team and support around you goes a long way in helping you realize your goals. - understanding the business model behind what you are building would save you unnecessary troubles business runs on cashflow, if this is not something you have on lock, then progress becomes impossible. - when building a community, being present as a founder in the chats would bring you closer to understand what people want and also builds trust. - be open to suggestions, but don’t let people deter you from the vision you have for what you are building. - having capable team members is a leverage to save time, so choose them wisely. Listening to founders and understanding what they are building and their motivation for building has been insightful for me but I’m improving this sessions going forward, stick around there is much more coming !! check for the links to each space below ↓
imagine building a vibrate NFT community while still in school then losing your account multiple times afterwards. well that’s the reality the founder of @Bullish_Ones had to face. Founder Spotlight Ep5, see you there ↓

but folks got their hands in things way bigger than you’d even comprehend. so best to focus on your own grind.

founders crazy enough to be building in crypto those are the folks i’m looking for it may not look like it yet, but financial rails already shifted. eventually those that were resilient during these dry times would be celebrated.

bootstrapping when building something that hasn’t proved it would work has to be the hardest thing as an entrepreneur that’s the initial risk you have to take.

many folks stopped showing up not because they lost the drive or lack the skills but because they ran out of runway money.

so many hacks, so many shutdowns. it’s early days, unfortunately, that’s the price we have to pay. only a few crypto businesses can survive and scale eventually. when all is said and done, we have to fully back the 1% that wins.

stop waiting for the right moment - ideas die in your notes because you didn’t start - connection fades, cause you didn’t follow up - the job never comes because you didn’t apply - relationships stay surface-level because you didn’t go deeper you’re so obsessed with the future you want that you miss the opportunities standing right in front of you. what are you waiting for ?
what i changed this month sending 4x more DMs - got ignored more than ever - closed more deals than ever - made connections that matter - spending more time on other apps one tweak. compounding results. most people won't send the first DM. will you?
