A stone from a historical site is definitely an artifact.
It's like robbing a bank and saying you just took some pieces of paper with figures and numbers on them. This is a serious crime anywhere in the world.
Try a similar stunt in Italy and find out.
Kim Mergits, a tourist from Antwerp, took three stones from beaches and streets in Turkey as decoration for her aquarium. But Turkey accused her of stealing archaelogical artefacts and she now faces a heavy fine or a prison sentence.

The stones she took were analysed by Antalya Museum and they concluded that 2 out of 3 stones she tried taking back to Belgium were archeological artefacts.

If you’re reading about Afghanistan and feeling sick and helpless about the unimaginable situation people there are facing, now would be a good moment to donate to a refugee-supporting charity. I’m putting together some links. Take your pick. Give what your can.

I will not read books by this author then. Lauren Hough is very rude & ungrateful.

I remember WhatsApp started as a peer 2 peer encrypted messaging app and privacy was the main reason to use it (as the same as the Signal app today). I just don't understand how Facebook doesn't see this fact and shoot itself in the foot. #WhatsappNewPolicy
