Forced to go back into #nextdoor (for a rec); the place where someone mobilizing "snow angels" for the disadvantaged is accused of micro aggression against the snow plowers & teens looking to "make real money." It's an icky icky place.

Only in PVD does our campus #Dunkin shut down for the holidays, and faculty get a notice that complimentary coffee will be offered during the shutdown.

I went thru something recently & colleagues offered to send me dinner. I put my hands up.... I'll be fine. They told me it wasn't an option. A neighbor has the flu & I said I would bring soup. They protested. I invited them to just accept the offer. Why is 'yes please' so hard?

To all the haters and disbelievers out there, I made an appt at the ri #dmv, brought the required paperwork, & walked out with new plates in 10 minutes. While grateful, I will say it took me way longer to navigate the website & it was a hope/ prayer that I had right paperwork.
The new process is a response to #COVID19 - I asked if they would ever go back, and registrar said 'hell no.' Gives me hope.
