England is running out of young farmers. Pay is poor, hours are long, and some farming parents are warning their children to find another career. But in Dorset, the next generation is still taking to the fields. @ellajglover went to meet them.

Telegraph here describing Mumsnet as "left-learning" which I suppose could be true if the opposition were Ghengis Khan.

When young women were more interested in marriage than young men, no one considered it a crisis
Incredibly bleak chart. Has to be some combination of: social media promoting a hedonistic lifestyle from young age, many peers are incels/degens so visibly not viable mates, teachers are radicals, parents not instilling good values, and relationships at home not great

I cannot be the only one sick to the back teeth of this. We don't vote for politicians so they can 'realise their dream' but to look out for us. It's not insignificant that the ones who go on about their roots are those who care least about us.
Here's me and my mam, back home in 1980s Washington. The fact a child from my background now is in the Cabinet is down to the Labour Party. I owe our movement so much. Now, I'm asking for your backing again - give me a mandate to open up opportunities for more children like me.

I went to this year's Labour Party Conference. I spent most of my time at fringe talks and speaking with campaigners, but Tuesday saw the most palpable vibe shift of all time. Thanks to the PM actually saying something (while also managing to say nothing) national.thelead.uk/p/labour…
