You need to understand the sequence of events and what is being played out with Mark Carney and Europe.
> Carney worked on the wealth transfer that is the carbon trade system and implementing aspects of it via regulations and systems before coming into politics.
> Carney co-chaired 2 funds opened in tax haven Bermuda dedicated to profit from the transition of a net zero carbon economy.
> Moves from Europe to Canada.
> Campaigns on carbon taxing our industries; "how much steel are you using these days?"
> Campaigned on Net Zero.
> Kept leaving to Europe as soon he was elected.
> Signs an MOU with Alberta increasing carbon taxes, creating a floor price, agreed to Net Zero targets.
> The MOU with Alberta will be used as a blueprint to create a national approach.
> Keeps calling Canada as the most European non-European country. This framing was anchored in his speeches on purpose.
> Tells you we live in a dangerous and divided world over and over again.
> Gives a speech oh how the New World Order will be built out of Europe.
> Canada invited to become an Associate Member of the EU, something that will be created specifically for Canada.
> Canada's trade system will be carbon trade based matching Europe's CBAM.
Ideological subversion at play.

Everyone knows I can't stand Carney and the Liberals. I've been yelling about it for 5 years.
But to everyone dunking on Harper for speaking at the investment summit, here's some context.
Harper chairs AIMCo, the outfit that invests Alberta's pension money. The summit was put on by Ottawa with CPP Investments and PSP Investments, the federal public service pension fund.
He has a duty to the people whose pensions he's responsible for.

He has a duty to his investors.
And listen to what he actually said. He took a shot at the Trudeau years for killing our shot at being an energy superpower. Then he gave Carney credit for finally fast-tracking projects, oil sands included.
There is no world where a former Prime Minister picks a foreign leader over the sitting Prime Minister of Canada.
๐ก๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ. ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ. ๐ญ๐ถ๐น๐ฐ๐ต
Doesn't matter how much he or you or I disagrees with him.
I want Carney to get crushed under the weight of his own failures. ๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐. The Liberals have failed this country for too, too long.
But no conservative leader is ever going to side with Trump over our own PM. Not even Pierre mocks the Prime Minister on American soil.
Harper and Poilievre are Team Canada. Pierre even talked to Harper before this thing. The Liberals have played this masterfully. The have allowed for Trump to create a false Binary and no Conservative leader will side with another country over their own. We must accept this reality.
The problem is that the narrative has shifted and numerous interests and loyalties have converged simultaneously.
Politics has essentially been replaced with nationalism. Some of us still see the Liberals are playing politics, but we can't deny that nationalism is being used now as the overarching narrative.
The Liberals are our government, God save us. But we must remember, we aren't Americans. Americans look after the interest of Americans. We must do the same.
I personally like Trump's helter skelter way of doing business. I grew up in that cut throat world. I understand it more than many others. It's messy, confusing, destabilizing. But many do not like this style.
After all New York business men, are not businessmen from Toronto, if you know what I mean.๐คฃ
But I don't want it costing this country more than we can afford, even though the Liberals have already cost us more than Trump has in the past few years.
This isn't a pick-one situation. Two things can be true at once. You can hate the Liberals and still be pissed about what Trump is costing Canada.
And like I've said before, we wouldn't even be this exposed to Trump if the Liberals had done their jobs for the last 10 years instead of spending us into the ground.
So no, nobody should expect a conservative, let alone a former Conservative PM, to work against the country. Even if that means being on the same side as the Liberals for a day, a week, a year.

My daughter came home from school and said,
โMum, youโre not going to believe what happened in history class today.โ
Her teacher told the class they were going to play a game.
He walked around the room and whispered to each kid whether they were a witch or just a regular person. Then he gave the instructions:
โForm the biggest group you can without a witch. If your group has even one, you all fail.โ
She said the whole room instantly lit up with suspicion.
Everyone started interrogating each other. Are you a witch? How do we know youโre not lying?
Some kids clung to one big group, but most broke off into smaller, exclusive cliques. They turned away anyone who seemed uncertain, nervous, or gave off even the slightest hint of being guilty.
The energy shifted fast. Suddenly everyone was suspicious of everyone.
Whispers. Finger-pointing. Side-eyes. Trust dissolved in minutes.
Finally, when all the groups were formed, the teacher said,
โAlright, time to find out who fails. Witches, raise your hands.โ
And not one hand went up.
The whole class exploded. โWait! You messed up the game!โ
And then the teacher dropped the bomb:
โDid I? Were there any actual witches in Salem, or did everyone just believe what they were told?โ
My daughter said the room went dead silent.
Thatโs when it hit them. No witch was ever needed for the damage to happen. Fear had already done its work. Suspicion alone divided the entire class, turning community into chaos.
And isnโt that exactly what weโre seeing today?
Different words, same playbook.
Instead of โwitch,โ itโs liberal, conservative, vaxxed, unvaxxed, pro-this, anti-that.
The labels shift, but the tactic is the same.
Get people scared. Get them suspicious. Get them divided.
Then sit back while trust crumbles.
The danger was never the witch.
The danger is the rumour. The suspicion. The fear. The planted lies.
Refuse the whisper. Donโt play the game. Because the second we start hunting โwitches,โ weโve already lost.

China's embassy just hosted a roundtable in Vancouver pitching economic cooperation with First Nations communities, while Canada's own land-rights disputes over much of British Columbia remain unresolved.
On September 3, the Chinese Embassy guided a trade roundtable organized by the Bank of China and hosted by the Canada China Chamber of Commerce. About 60 attendees heard Ambassador Wang Di's written remarks calling for Chinese and Canadian businesses and First Nations communities to strengthen collaboration under a "China-Canada new strategic partnership."
The guest list is what makes this notable. Former federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau attended. So did Senator Yuen Pau Woo, former senator Victor Oh, and Ernie Daniels, president of the First Nations Finance Authority, a body that manages $4.4 billion in loans for Indigenous infrastructure, housing, land purchases, and energy projects like the Haisla Nation's Cedar LNG stake.
No deals were announced. The embassy described it as a discussion of future cooperation. But the framing was explicit: Chinese institutions, Canadian financial figures, and Indigenous finance leaders in the same room, invited by China's diplomatic mission, specifically discussing First Nations economic development at a moment when much of British Columbia's land remains under unresolved Aboriginal title claims.
When a foreign government's embassy organizes a meeting that specifically targets Indigenous finance and land development, is that economic outreach or something worth looking at more carefully?
๐จ MAJOR BREAKING: China is pitching direct investments on CONTESTED BC land.
This is the same China that ran police stations in Canada & interfered in our elections.
They hosted First Nations leaders in Vancouver.
And in the room to help: former Liberal finance minister Bill Morneau.
They call it a "strategic partnership."
On land Canada is still fighting over.
What could go wrong?

โJean Chrรฉtienโs speech today was the perfect representation of how unhinged & disgraceful the Liberal Party has become.
He stood on a podium at a 9/11 event and gave a speech on how America shouldnโt mess with us, not mistake kindness for weakness & how strong we are.
Today is a day of mourning.
Not a day to puff out our chest as a result of a failed negotiation.
3000 people died.
And today, the Liberals overshadowed it with anger instead of sympathy.
We should not accept this as the norm.
This type of politics should never be welcomed in our country.
It was cruel and beneath us.
It does not represent Canadian values and should be universally condemned.โ

3000 people died on 9/11.
Instead of honouring the dead, the Liberals decided to politicize the day & attack Americans.
Over a trade agreement.
Of all days, on 9/11.
Using a tragedy.
And to what end?
Do they think they will get Donald Trumpโs sympathy for a free trade agreement?
Do they think this is going to be helpful in achieving a trade deal?
Or do they want to just piss them off more so we get a worse deal?
This is disgraceful & shameful behaviour by Jean Chrรฉtien.
It should be called out for what it is: deplorable behaviour on a sacred day.
These people have no morality or bounds to their shameless behaviour.
