It was amazing to open the show with a bespoke poem for Chris and Megan's Night of Nature at the Hawk Conservancy! Such a brilliant event, raising money for bird of prey conservation across the globe. @HawkConservancy @ChrisGPackham @MeganMcCubbin

This sounds just brilliant from @em_nature @cameron_b_trust - & what a line up of experts in the field! We need young people’s voices & perspectives on nature - we need to listen, encourage, reach out & lift up. Bravo all involved!
The first-ever camp for young nature writers at Cameron's Cottage was a huge success! When I first had the idea, I didn't imagine how brilliant it would turn out to be! We created a unique opportunity for young writers to learn from experts in the field... (thread) ⬇️
Thank you also to Alicia @aliciahaydenart for her continued support throughout the process, and although sadly she couldn't join us at the weekend, for sending us a recorded session for the group.
Last but not least, thank you to my co host Andrew @AndrewMillham and the @cameron_b_trust , for making this weekend happen. I am proud to have worked alongside such incredible people to create such a special opportunity in Cameron's memory. See you next year 😉
