COUNTY ASSEMBLY APPROVES KSHS 10 BILLION BUDGET FOR FY 2026/2027
County Assembly today approved the County Budget Estimates for the FY 2026/2027, amounting Kshs 10,076,621,585.00. Kshs 4,647,906,541.00 for development expenditure & Kshs 5,428,715,044.00 for recurrent.

County Assembly, during its morning sitting today, unanimously passed Elgeyo/Marakwet Peace Building and Conflict Management Bill, 2025 into law, now known as The Elgeyo/Marakwet Peace Building and Conflict Management Act, 2026.
