The werewolf being a beast that comes suddenly from within you where it didn't exist before, and overpowers you beyond your control is also reminiscent of how puberty feels as a trans masc, these violent, painful changes you didn't ask for that fill you with wrath and rage.

I don't think anyone who says "I have arrived" ever has. Doing the work to unlearn kyriarchy is an ongoing process. What we think we know we often have to unlearn as new knowledge arises and conditions change. You never arrive. You're always moving forward to be better.

I'd rather take somebody who still has some chuddy hangups that they're willing to work through than somebody who uses the facade of "good politics" as a form of social capital and control. The former is somebody that can actually become more than aesthetically anti-fascist.

A much succincter explaination just hit me. AMAB trans-femmes who don't need HRT aren't "more privileged" for the same reason cis women who need it aren't as marginalized for that need as trans women. The access denial is rooted in the structural transphobia/enbyphobia.

Transmedicalism is the deferment of authority over our own bodies to medical institutions, it's not somebody getting pissed off at people who are more privileged than them for acting like they're equally oppressed and speaking over them. Hope this helps.

Thus it's like I said, we can talk about the inequity and the tranaphobic harm without pitting the fully "transsexual", the purely "transgender" person, and those in the middle against each other, as how we're impacted is complex and we're better off fighting for access together.
