Not everyone deserves access to you, and not every demand deserves a response. Learn to withdraw without guilt, remain silent without fear, and walk away without explanation. You owe nobody the sacrifice of your peace just to satisfy their entitlement. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is refuse to give people what they believe they can take from you.
I don't seem to understand the obsession of some male lawyers with bogus bibs in court. Like where did you guys inherit such orientation from 😂😂😂 Looking like Solomon Grundy....Moderate bibs are forever goated. Let's not talk about wigs cos that's for another day.

While in church today and a guy in the congregation gave testimony and he made one statement that kept ringing in my head " i tell people that I am a very bad person because if I tell them I am good person it brews this sense of giving myself up to be taken advantage of".

When a police officer stops you for a search, Section 50(3) of the Nigeria Police Act, 2020 requires the officer to disclose the following:
His name and the name of the police station to which he is attached;
The object of the search; and
The grounds or authorisation for conducting the search.
Furthermore, Section 50(4) of the same Act provides that a police officer exercising the power to stop and search must be in uniform or visibly display a valid police identity card.
Know your rights. The law binds both the citizen and the police.

It was held that: The court is not a charitable home, and would not grant in favour of a party a relief not claimed by him and it must always restrict and confine itself to the relief sought by party who has approached it.
