Our #WheelchairService team recently attended a specialist seating clinic with @SpexSeating , gaining hands on insight into a range of cushions. This learning helps us be the best support for the people who draw on our services because comfort and care go hand in hand.

We had a brilliant day at Enabled Living hosting another of our induction sessions! 💙🧡
It’s always a pleasure introducing people to Enabled Living and giving them a closer look at the services we provide across Newham.
We were joined by #OccupationalTherapists and Shared Lives officers, with sessions covering our Community Equipment & Customer Service teams, plus detailed insights into our Wheelchairs, Sensory, and OT services.

Amazing Omar, one of our drivers, had already wrapped up his shift but when Tony, from customer service, needed help communicating with a Somali resident on the phone, Omar didn’t think twice. He stepped in to lend a hand and made sure the caller got what they needed.

#DeafAwarenessWeek is back and we’ve had the fantastic opportunity of seeing the Dialogue Cafe @UEL_News in action. The #BSL cafe aims to create an inclusive environment.
Our teams had a great time learning something new whilst interacting in #BSL with #Deaf and hard of hearing baristas, who are helping to bridge gaps between the wider society.
Come and pop down to the next big thing in #Newham.

Helping more people get their wheelchairs faster, without additional assessments. 🚀
