Paras Healthcare made its market debut today, listing at ₹720 on both BSE and NSE, a 3.9% premium to the issue price of ₹693. For investors who got an allotment, one lot of 21 shares, bought at ₹14,553, was worth ₹15,120 at the listing price.
The listing caps a three-day IPO that ran from October 21 to 23, with a price band of ₹660-693. The ₹1,450 Cr issue comprised a fresh issue of ₹500 Cr and an offer for sale of ₹950 Cr, and was subscribed 2.34x overall.
Ahead of the opening, the company had raised ₹652.50 Cr from 39 anchor investors at ₹693 per share, including Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, BlackRock Global Funds and Norway’s Government Pension Fund Global.
About ₹375 Cr of the fresh issue is earmarked for repaying debt.
On the business side, Paras Healthcare operates 8 hospitals with 2,211 beds across North India, Bihar and Jharkhand, and plans to reach 3,011 beds by March 2028 with a second hospital in Gurugram (300 beds) and a new 500-bed hospital in Ludhiana.
In FY26, it reported ₹1,606 Cr in revenue, up about 42% from ₹1,129 Cr in FY24, and ₹336 Cr in EBITDA. The company also returned to profitability, with a ₹43.83 Cr profit in FY26 after losses in FY24 and FY25.
With the listing done, the focus shifts to how well Paras converts new capacity into sustained revenue and profit growth.
