Given this, they likely decided to do this once with a handful of jobs to show off the idea, and then show off the rest when its significantly more completed. as by the time other jobs would become presentable, it would probably not be that far out from media tour anyways

when we saw paladin, white mage, dragoon, and bard, its entirely possible that other jobs within those roles were still in the concept stage entirely likely they just hard focused on them and other jobs were still in flux

I'm one of a very few select individuals that can say my raid night occasionally gets cancelled directly due to something donald trump did

You know what, I thought for sure that this info was in the lodestone house purchasing guide, but it isn't the only official description I can find of it is a 10+ year old lodestone post na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes… yeah that's insane

Do they actually tell you about it ingame, though? Like when you buy a house do they tell you before the sale that you'll have to walk in every 45 days? Because I was genuinely blindsided by how short the timer was and don't remember the game warning me at all before I won lotto

I'm sorry but I think if you buy a house in FFXIV and complain about needing to keep up your sub, you really shouldn't have bought a house in the first place

Personally I think the solution should be to just make permanent instanced housing so that people can engage in player housing without feeling the need to keep their sub up rather than design content such that you're now required to log in regularly

I can tell you this for free Imagine how mad people are that they have to keep their sub up to keep their house People will be significantly angrier if they have to keep their sub up to stay current with battle content

My concern with them saying they want a faster patch cadence is just it potentially negatively affecting the game. As I understand it, WoW is actually dealing with this right now, patches are coming out very fast and content is just incredibly rough

during ShB, they even explained why patches take longer there's just more shit in the game per patch even if a lot of it isn't entirely visible to the player these numbers haven't really gone down and have only stayed the same or gone up over time

Maybe their teams are bigger now and they've developed an efficient enough production pipeline that they can handle it. Its just quite a risk to take imo, and I'm honestly half expecting them to not really change it, as they said they will TRY to do it
