The Brewers are the first team ever to have the lead and be 3 outs away from a World Series title and lose the game without getting any of those 3 outs.

I'm not going to argue with a soon to be 3-time manager of the year. Played not to lose in game 4, but win game 5 instead.
Pat Murphy said Jacob Misiorowski was not an option he wanted to burn in a one-run game in extra innings with a 3-0 series lead. Misiorowski will start Game 5.

Jackson Chourio and William Contreras are the first pair of teammates to have 2+ hits in three straight World Series games while their team wins each one. The only players to do so in four straight games (all wins) in one World Series are Johnny Bench, Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.

Testing has confirmed that #Packers center Sean Rhyan has a high ankle sprain that will likely sideline him at least a month, sources tell @CBSSports. Not currently expected to undergo tightrope surgery but currently viewed as likely that he’ll miss at least four weeks.

Robert Gasser of the @Brewers is the second pitcher in World Series history to finish a start of 6.0 or more innings having faced the minimum number of batters. The other was Don Larsen in his 1956 perfect game.

First injury report of the short week for Green Bay. The Packers did not practice, so everything is an estimation. 6 players would have been a DNP, including Matthew Golden.

The Packers have placed C/G Jacob Monk on injured reserve and signed G Mekhi Becton Sr. to the active roster off the practice squad.

#Packers LB Zaire Franklin, who missed last week’s game after getting accidentally kicked in practice, suffered a hairline fracture in his leg, sources say. Green Bay did not place him on Injured Reserve, and they believe he can return while missing minimal games.

#Packers C Sean Rhyan, who left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, sources say. X-Rays were negative, and he has an MRI today. But high-ankle sprains are often 4-6 week injuries.

For the first time ever, the Rays trail 0-2 in a best-of-7 playoff series. With Freddy Peralta starting, they have exactly who they want on the mound in a pivotal Game 3 — in three starts this postseason, he has a 1.13 ERA with 12 Ks and Tampa has won all three games.

October 24, 1993 Future Hall of Famer Sterling Sharpe ties fellow Packers legend Don Hutson's 48-year-old single-game franchise record with four receiving touchdowns in Green Bay's 37-14 rout of the Bucs in Tampa. Sharpe would later duplicate the feat on Thanksgiving in 1994.
