I do not know what the competition looks like. That said, the utility of the Humane platform, and its potential application to a wide variety of embedded uses, fuels my optimism that they'll figure it out. My advice: don't sleep on Humane. (2 of 2)
My team met Humane at CES, where we received an intriguing demo, and learned as much about the platform as the Pin. While I'll admit to being stunned at the viciousness of the Pin reviews, I remain of the belief that the platform is the company's strength. (1 of 2)
Why not both? As more professionals work from home, with connectivity a critical productivity enabler, I'm bullish on a solution featuring both diverse connections.
That was step 1. Now protect everyone else from this heinous practice.

If you're hoping to activate a device for a few months, an older device may suffice. If you need something that would work through year end and into 2021, I STRONGLY recommend a device that supports VoLTE.
