We’ve all been watching football long enough to know QBs have games like Penix had. The falcons picked Brees off 5 times. But to defend the shit is what’s killing. He fucked up, they were all dumb decisions so just let it be
The first two times Matt Ryan played in Tampa Bay he combined for two touchdown passes and four interceptions. Both game days were sunny with clear skies.
Stop this revisionist BS. Penix had a terrible game. ALL young QBs have a terrible game on their resume.
He needs to be starting when he finishes his suspension. I need that kind of decision-making in my starting lineup.

The Penix haters are dunking all up and down the TL but keep in mind the Baker Mayfield didn’t even complete a pass today.
-2 yards passing and 324 yards rushing.
I can tell when the someone has only been a Falcons fan for a short while. Either that or he just hates Penix because this is far from true.
This is the type of bad game that makes a coaching staff really question your future. Sure, just one game, but this will go down among the worst QB performances in #Falcons history.
No Hawks players

Michael Penix Jr. has thrown 4 INTs in a downpour.
Matt Ryan once threw 5 INTs at home in the dome.
He’ll be alright.
Omg what is it about playing in Tampa Bay!? Early in Matt Ryan’s career he used to throw multiple interceptions every time he played in Tampa Bay. Now here goes Penix with FOUR FREAKIN INTERCEPTIONS. Smh
If you get a point guard that can set Jalen Johnson up for some easy shots then you’ll see his scoring go up to about 25 points a game. Right now he’s having to create every shot he takes. Transition off of turnovers is the only time he gets an easy bucket.

I agree but scoring is a huge component. I believe in the kid but every rookie scores 20 a couple times. Unless we don’t care about winning this year I say keep him on the bench until further notice.
