I thought the casting added such an interesting diversity in the overall sound world of the piece AND the role was ORIGINALLY written for a boy treble so it’s actually how my main man Händel would have wanted it to sound!!!

AND Handel wrote the treble in after most of the opera was already written JUST to cast the treble (originally William Savage) so he must have really wanted that sound really badly so Brava @TheRoyalOpera stunning all round a beautiful production
