Our Mum believed voting was a duty. So unwell, she asked to go on 15 October 2020, this was unusual as she'd loved to cast her vote on election day.
She passed to the other side Sunday at 10am. Please vote.

Winston is pushing to strip 700 000 permanent residents of their rights to vote and receive the pension.
He will give a baby bonus based on ethnicity.
He will end the Waitangi Tribunal.
He is attacking the W.H.O
He has sided with war criminals.
He has said such racist comments in Parliament that China had to step in.
He lied about the chain immigration in the Indian Free Trade Deal.
He will give the Fishing Industry and Mining Industry anything they want.
And yet HE has the audacity to complain about the “pettiness, the diversion, the misleading representation”?!?!

Over 400,000 people have already voted. Over 100,000 more than the 2023 election. Apparently there was a big rush of young people enrolling near cut off date. I think the government shot themselves in the foot trying to influence the vote.

Mark Wilson has donated $100,000 to National. He is a BlackRock board member and Chairman of Policy Expert, an insurance company based in the UK.
BlackRock has been in NZ since 2023. Mostly managing KiwiSaver funds, buying land and buying shares (like in Auckland Airport)

The collapse of Reddit will be studied.
After reporting earnings, its stock collapsed 30% in a single day.
It's down 44% in 2 weeks.
But the most important detail is what was revealed in that earnings call.
The CEO said AI is killing Google search.
People no longer get sent to Reddit from Google. They merely get their answers from the AI Mode itself.
Even Google confirmed this themselves with their disastrous results - AI mode is cannibalising their search business.
Pretty soon, no one will visit Reddit voluntarily. Its traffic will continue to crater.
The worst part?
Reddit isn't alone. There are millions of companies and publishers that rely on search traffic.
That's what happens when you rely on a single funnel for discovery.
