My family drove right next to a silent, floating, incredible flying saucer for about 5 minutes when I was a kid. No exhaust or engines, then it accelerated at an impossible speed, and immediately appeared next to the mountains in the distance.

No one believes us of course, or a common response is "it was nighttime, so it was probably hard to see". I have a background in design and CG so I recreated the experience in 3D using real land data from Google. Would this be interesting to anyone?

Anthropic’s Mythos page now has “Claude Mythos 5.5” hidden in its code, and Fable has always launched alongside Mythos. Meanwhile “GPT-6.2 Astra” is showing up in Codex usage logs. Both labs look ready to ship. Could be the week!

AI won't make us stupid. We already think more than any humans in history; deep problem-solving used to be a rare job. Maybe AI returns us to simplicity, letting us spend time understanding what matters most to us. Astra's release just means we dont have to push pixels anymore.
