Very very very important advice here.
the ROI is terrible on full length music videos. They are super fun to make & super fun to watch but not worth investing in until you have something moving. Short form video is the key these days, perfect the art of affordable & impactful shortform and watch your socials blossom.

Two pieces of advice for new EDM producers: 1. That section you're looping should probably be about half as long as you first want it to be. 2. Make big changes. Trust your listeners to follow you to new and different places.

Excited to share the new Evoke sound. Really returning to my roots and making some things I'm hyped about.

It sucks to get hyped about somebody’s music and then see them being really reactionary and it just ruins what should have been a good thing.

The real challenge of electronic music performance is showing people what you're doing, not just doing it. Audiences often don't know the difference between pretending to turn a knob and generating an entire song from scratch.
no disrespect to charlie but it’s amazing how people creating mind-bogglingly complex things with electronic music are still written off as unskilled while this gets a screaming crowd reaction

If you're putting together an electronic music performance, you need to decide how much you care about being *seen* as talented. It's not necessarily important. A lot of audiences just want spectacle, and don't care if what you're doing is challenging or in-real-time.
