Europe's governments bet on curfews, bans and tear gas.
Gen Z made sure the next country over joined in.
This is not a one-country protest.
This is the beginning of something much bigger.
i need everyone to understand that when i draw andrew and neil kissing i experience the same level of shock and excitement as a third party witnessing it happen. who put their mouths togethe????? oh right. ME. i did that . anyway mmmmm. excellent.
the amount of self restraint i have to exercise every time i see ppl talk about the protests is insane. ppl are dying, being brutalised, struggling to afford food and living on the streets but apparently the real tragedy is a looted louis vuitton store like kindly fuck off
and before anyone gets the wrong idea i LOVE aftg. i love these characters. i would die for these stupid little college athletes. but why the fuck are they dressed like traffic cones. why is there SO MUCH ORANGE. i am an artist not a soldier im not meant for the trenches.
the problem being an aftg artist is that sometimes i have to draw the foxes in their jerseys and suddenly my entire artistic identity is being held hostage by a colour i usually only tolerate and it’s muted, brownish, slightly dead form
art block? no. i’m using all my free time to make protest signs for the 17th bc watching my country slide towards fascism is a big no no. would quite like to keep my rights and everyone else’s too. the art skills are being redirected towards the greater good
