There are small ways you can do your part to help the environment. On this Global Recycling Day, check to see if you have anything you could recycle instead of throwing away. If you have any electronics laying around, @ewasteeplanet can recycle those!
If your #eWaste is not securely recycled or is shipped overseas (a practice used by a majority of U.S. recycling companies), it may be re-sold and refurbished without being wiped. bit.ly/eWeP6
Happy Friday! I challenge you to try not using a car for one day of the week. Seek alternate forms of transportation, whether a bus, bike, scooter, or train. There are many ways to get around town and run errands.

Use your kitchen's appliances more efficiently. Unplug smaller appliances when not in use such as coffee machines, blender, food processor, or toaster. Lastly, utilize cooking multiple things in the oven at once instead of cooking for hours at a time.

Did you know that there are eco-friendly hair salons? They tend to use nontoxic products, compost or recycle their waste streams, and focus on wellness. Look for a sustainable salon next time you need one through a quick Google search.
