We are very excited to be launching our new community plumbers project in partnership with @ewseta, @IETI53854263, @ibp_sa, and @DAG_activism.
This project will strengthen community-led repairs and maintenance of communal taps and toilets. 100 informal settlement residents will be trained to fix minor faults and as a result improve access to basic services in their communities by increasing the number of operational water and sanitation points. As a result, municipal technicians can prioritise complex infrastructure work while routine repairs are resolved promptly, shortening waiting times and improving everyday service delivery for residents.

Windaba 2025 | Celebrating Our Exhibitors
At the heart of every great convening lies a living pulse, one sustained by innovation, exchange, and human connection. At Windaba 2025, our exhibitors embodied that pulse. They transformed the exhibition floor into a dynamic ecosystem of ideas, solutions, and shared purpose, where technology met vision, and collaboration ignited progress.
Each stand was more than a display; it was a dialogue.
A dialogue between science and society, between business and sustainability, between aspiration and implementation. Our exhibitors brought to life the tangible realities of the energy transition, showing us that change is not abstract; it is engineered, designed, and driven by people who believe in a better, greener tomorrow.
From pioneering technologies and engineering excellence to social innovation and community-centred initiatives, these organisations represented the collective spirit of an industry determined to power progress while uplifting people.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our 2025 exhibitors, the visionaries, innovators, and changemakers who made Windaba not just a conference but an experience of discovery, collaboration, and hope.
