I want to unify BIM and Arch Viz once and for all. Building a future beyond the services industry to support my family and make my own film.

I'm Pablo, an architect from Colombia with 20+ years of archviz experience. Taking a design from sketch to final plans meant a messy maze of software & licenses. I built ex3d.com to fix this: one app for drafting, modeling, & rendering. Try it!

Making @bot control gemini is hilarious now i can make slop at twice the speed. @mrdoob

This is what it feels to dial in the modeling system to finally make a faithful copy of Vittoriano! @manto_vincenzo

It's a phenomenon called value compression. Weare at the squeeze point of the inversion of value between software suppliers and software demand. It happened when weaving machines appeared, when power tools arrived to construction and now with AI commoditizing software. It's important to stay lean and mean.

If you think people hacking, decompiling and vibe-coding software is cool wait till they start doing it with real hardware.

Why have BIM, CAD, RenderModel and Digital Twin in 4 different filetypes if you can have a single file for all?

I was having a pretty bad day. Been having massive headaches the last 4 days. Until y saw a fucking engineer singing about engines in china. @SledgeDev

Ok found some trademark problems dealing with eiffel. Scrap the name I'll keep ex3d.com for now.

Great work on pcg-ts this is the kind of deterministic scene graph I've been develloping for eiffel.app. This feels like destiny.

The Eiffel Tower, deconstructed with @claudeai from Eiffel's original drawings. Rebuilt with PCG-TS, a procedural 3D library designed for AI agents. Generated from a graph and rendered in real time with @threejs. Live demo + GitHub 👇

@ex3dcom is doing a perfect job, and I admire his dedication to user feedback! The Vittoriano was certainly a complex task, a neoclassical marble work measuring 130 m x 130 m x 80 m. I've seen some photogrammetry with 1.2 million triangles and 8 million vertices. Keep pushing @ex3dcom !
I owe @manto_vincenzo an apology. But the task of making Vittoriano in 3d has come to be the greatest excuse for technological improvement of ex3d.com! The question is: How do you make a classical building with ultra complex geometry into a fully BIM compatible project. Well you redesign the engine to be fully supportive of complex parametrical NURBS and poligonal geometry and still be exportable to IFC! Thanks for the rabbit hole, Vicenzo!

I have no right to model any modern buildings if I don't get classical buildings right first.

There's a lot of AI hate on @pouetdotnet lately, so I decided to vibecode a demo about it. 💾 xplsv.github.io/lolfuckai/

Found the reply responsible for being blocked from @icreatelife. And yes. Never trust an @Adobe employee with your personal data.

Algorithmic problem #543. What to do when a family object is an embedded light fixture and how does it interact with the ceiling. @j_brissonneau

Ok I think that the way to make a foundational change that lets me make a single app that can replace #archicad, #revit and #3dsmax needs a data structure that doesn't exist yet. Imagine glb but with full MEP compatibility. That's how 100 hours of work begin, lets go!
